Tammy Seib, Principal
Welcome to the "Principal's Office".
Hi! My name is Tammy Seib. I have the privilege of being the principal at Skyview School of STEM. I have the best job in the whole world! Since my first year at Skyview, 2001, each year I have fallen more and more in love with our school community. I enjoy my job so much because on a daily basis I get to interact with phenomenal teachers, an exceptional classified staff, wonderful students and caring parents. We all work hard together to make Skyview the quality school that it is and a place that children love to be.
I have my BA from the University of Northern Colorado in Elementary Education with an emphasis in Early Childhood Development. I received my MA in Instructional Leadership and my Type D Certification (principal's certification) from Colorado State University.
Before coming to Skyview I was a principal in Poudre School District for two years, taught K-3rd grade for 11 years and was a literacy specialist (K-6) for two years. I love helping students discover the joy of reading and writing.
Skyview is a PBS (Positive Behavior Support) school. We use the "High 5" to help students remember what our expected behavior is. Our "High Five" is Respect, Responsibility, Listening, Self Control and Honesty. Each of these character traits are important to a well functioning school community.
Personally, I have been married to my kind and very supportive husband, Mark, since 1986. Family is very important to us so we spend much of our free time with our families doing things like camping, hiking or our favorite pastime, eating out. My favorite sport is hockey~Go Avalanche!
I believe in a true open door policy so if you ever have any questions, ideas or concerns I would love for you to come and talk to me about them. Working together we can make Skyview a wonderful place for our students, parents and staff.
I am glad you came to visit our school website. Enjoy looking at our staff's web pages too.
