Music - At Skyview Elementary during their music specials time, students engage in a variety of activities that align with national music standards, fostering both creativity and musicianship. They explore rhythm and melody through singing, playing instruments, and movement, which helps them understand and appreciate diverse musical cultures. Students also participate in improvisation and composition exercises, encouraging them to express their own musical ideas. By integrating listening and analysis of different music styles, we aim to develop critical listening skills and a lifelong love for music.

Art - Elementary art classes at Skyview School of STEM are crafted to align with the Colorado State Standards, providing a comprehensive exploration of art through the lens of various artists and cultural perspectives. In addition to exploring different artists, the art curriculum allows students to experiment with a wide variety of media and mediums, including drawing, painting, printmaking, and clay. In Skyview's art room everyone is an artist and is encouraged to make their own artistic choices.
