In third grade at Skyview Elementary School, students embark on an exciting journey guided by the Colorado State Standards. Our curriculum is designed to deepen their understanding in subjects such as math, reading, science, and social studies, while fostering critical thinking and problem-solving skills. We emphasize the importance of being kind, respectful, and remaining on task, which aligns with our commitment to a positive and productive learning environment. Additionally, we nurture a growth mindset, encouraging students to embrace challenges and view setbacks as opportunities for growth. Following the principles of Character Counts, we focus on developing traits such as trustworthiness, respect, responsibility, fairness, caring, and citizenship. Our aim is to inspire student curiosity, empowering them to explore and engage with the world around them.
